District Deputy Grand Matron Jayne Wills, Grand Chapter Committee members Helen LeCount and Orvella Wright, and Past Matron Mokane Chapter 352 Laura Sands, were introduced and welcomed. Sands also served as Organist pro-tem for the evening.
An invitation to the Grand Opening of the Masonic Museum at the Masonic Complex, 6033 Masonic Drive, Suite C, Columbia was read. It is 2-6 p.m. Feb. 23. Ceremonies will be at 3 p.m.
Bethel 65, International Order of Job's Daughters, New Bloomfield, will hold their Official Visit by the Grand Guardian of Missouri, at 1 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Masonic Temple in New Bloomfield. A meal will be served after the meeting.
The District Deputy, Wills, presented Sandy Terry, Associate Conductress, with her ribbon and colors for 2011, which will be Terry's year as Worthy Matron.
Charlotte Baxter gave a program on the history of the sewing machine, which is the main symbol for 2008. Refreshments were served during the social hour after the meeting. Debbie McCormick was hostess. The chapter will hold its official visit by the District Deputy at the March 11 meeting.
The next regular meeting is Feb. 12.
