Tigers land on watch lists

COLUMBIA - Four Missouri Tigers have been named to watch lists for a pair of college football awards.
Three - senior tight end Chase Coffman, senior quarterback Chase Daniel and sophomore wide receiver/ kick returner Jeremy Maclin - have been selected to the 2008 Maxwell Award Watch List. William Moore, a senior safety, has been named to the 2008 Chuck Bednarik Award List.
Each list is comprised of 75 players selected based on their performance during the 2007 season.
The Maxwell Award has been presented to the outstanding college football player since 1937. The Bednarik Award has been presented since 1995 and goes to the top defensive player.
Semifinalists for both awards will be announced in early November, with three finalists announced later in the month. The awards will be presented in December.
