Your Opinion: Statements and actions questioned

Dear Editor:

Just when you have seen it all, heard it all, or thought you have, Ferguson has lit up the "I'll be damned light." Jay Nixon, Capt. Johnson and Eric Holder hit my switch.

As the top law dog, Holder agreed with the looters and thugs that they had reason to be suspicious of law enforcement. This statement came from the top cop in the USA before all the facts have been gleaned from the investigation. Guilty until proven innocent I suppose Eric?

Then we had Nixon sending the native black son of Ferguson Capt. Johnson to take care of business. Pictures of Johnson partaking in the demonstration and then stating he was a black man first and a trooper second was interesting. He allowed the looting to continue instead of sicking the dogs on the thugs. Black or white, Nixon sent the wrong man to uphold the law.

Then we come to Nixon's statement that we (Missouri I suppose) will prosecute the police officer. The grand jury has not given a verdict but the governor has made his mind up.

Are votes really that important?

This is not about race; it's about the rule of law.

If it's a bad shoot, the cop goes to jail. If it's a good shoot, then the gentle giant needed to be shot. Case closed, I am sorry for your loss.
