Seven injured in multiple, minor crashes

Four men were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 11:10 a.m. Thursday on Missouri 68 north of St. James in Maries County.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol report a 2006 GMC Sierra, driven westbound by Terald A. Smith, 54, Sparta, Illinois, crossed the center line into the path of a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, driven eastbound by Terence S. Ryan, 45, Vienna.

Smith sought his own treatment. Ryan and two passengers, Alex S. Ryan, 13, Vienna, and Wyatt L. Wood, 16, House Springs, were taken to Phelps County Regional Medical Center.

Everyone was wearing seat belts.

• Two women were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 9:10 p.m. Thursday on Missouri 64 west of Lebanon in Laclede County.

The patrol reported a 2006 Hyundai, driven southbound by Mary Spencer, 58, Camdenton, was stopped in the road and was struck by a 2013 Ford Escape, driven westbound by Janice D. White, 68, Lebanon.

Both were taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon.

Both were wearing seat belts.

• A Stover man was injured in a accident at 8:30 a.m. Friday on Missouri 135 south of Route J in Morgan County.

The patrol reported a 2001 Buick Regal, driven southbound by Thomas L. McClanahan, 55, left the right side of the road, went down a small embankment, struck a tree, coming to rest on its wheels.

McClanahan refused treatment at the scene.

He was wearing a seat belt.
