Dear Editor:
Christian values are under assault in America.
Who are these people that think we are not at war with Islam? Regardless of what those who are willing to give up our country to Islam think, America was founded and made great by Christians who created a government based wholly on Christian principals of individual freedom. America is a Christian country and if we as citizens don't come to grips with the fact that Islam's goal is take over our country then America is lost as a free society.

Why are we so ignorant or so entrenched in this misguided liberal belief that we should be tolerant of everyone regardless of their evil goal of domination and control?
Why are we silent on Islamic treatment of women? It's unbelievable to me that our media is totally obsessed with the Ray Rice abuse of his then fiancé and seldom, if ever, mention the abuse and disrespect of women that is common in the Islamic world. It's amazing that Ms. Sanning by her letter of Sept. 11 seems to be more concerned about an innocent and harmless cartoon by Jim Dyke than the real problem that feminists should be concerned about.
I see one incident however, that really makes me proud. Ted Cruz, the Senator from Texas and probably the most hated person by the liberal Democrats, had the courage to walk out of the "In Defense of Christians Conference" held Sept. 10 in Washington, DC. He walked out because he was being booed for having the courage to say: "Religious bigotry is a cancer with many manifestations. ISIS, Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, and their state sponsors like Syria and Iran, are all engaged in a vicious genocidal campaign to destroy religious minorities in the Middle East." Finally he said: "if you will not stand with Israel and Jews, then I will not stand with you. Thank you and God bless you."
Oh, how I wish we had a president with that kind of courage! Until we do, America will continue the decline toward Islamic control and Sharia law.
