I don't know how to say this without sounding cheesy but we may be on a road that has no turns. President Obama needs some lessons about enemy identification concerning the Islamic threat and how it relates to terrorism.
America did not have any sudden qualms about who bombed Pearl Harbor and who was responsible for the Holocaust. America and her allies acted appropriately.
British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain was closely associated with the policy of appeasement toward Nazi Germany. His government took Britain into World War II. The policy of appeasement (giving in) proved to be a complete failure.
Today America's trusting nature has worked against us.

Nazis were trying to establish the master race and radical Islam is trying to establish the master faith. ISIS is the modern equivalent of communism.
The declaration of war, the acquisition of territory and now the genocide of hostages had been inadequate however to provoke a massive U.S. retaliation.
ISIS could change their strategy and take a more dangerous and direct approach at this point with nuclear or chemical weapons. For example ISIS could change the course of human events.
