JC's Chicken, the former KFC restaurant in Jefferson City at 1923 Christy Drive, has closed; and the property is under new ownership.
The restaurant remained open for business through a brand switch last December.
Commercial real estate agent Larry Kolb confirmed the property has been sold - and a sign advertises it as sold in the building's window - but Kolb said he remains in a confidentiality agreement with the new owner.
The JC's Chicken location in Warrenton, Mo., remains open, but a location in Boonville also has closed.
