Your Opinion: Two examples of erosion of the "rule of law'

It was a refreshing experience to hear Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu speak. He is a man dedicated and determined to fight for the safety and salvation of his country. He came to draw support from the Congress and to make his perspective known to this administration and the other five countries in the negotiations with Iran. The agreement must stipulate that Iran can never have nuclear weapons. Congress must ratify or reject any agreements made with Iran.

It was good to hear a speech that was sincere and from the heart unlike our government-elect who have to put a spin on every issue. We have to wake up and disassemble the Washington establishment.

There are around 50 members in the Senate and House that are trying to do the right thing for our government and our country. The Washington establishment and the media call them Tea Party, radicals, counter productive, rambunctious, rebels, traitors and worse.

Like Prime Minister Netanyahu their group of 50 are advocating salvation of our country, our rights, our freedom and our Constitution.

Senator Tom Coburn said "I'm here to tell you two things. One you cannot imagine the speed at which your country and liberties are being destroyed. Two I can tell you that the solutions we need will never come from Washington."

He also voiced a concern about the erosion of our "rule of law" and something else that has made this country great - self reliance. Under the guidance of helping our government adds trillions of dollars each year of debt on our children and grandchildren. It will only stop when the people and the states join together and stop it.

President Ronald Reagan once said "The nine most terrifying words in the English language are "I'm from the government and I'm here to help."

For erosion of the rule of law all we have to do is look at the cop killings and the radicals that are rioting across our country. It has become a lot more than discrimination. When Ferguson went political through President Obama, the attorney general and Gov Nixon, everything went sour.

Rioting and destruction in Ferguson could have been stopped. They had months to prepare. Law enforcement was told to stand down.

Our federal and state legislators are now going to regulate law enforcement actions. An example is: criminal shoots cop, officers wound not fatal, now officer can draw fire and return fire at criminal.
