COLUMBIA -- Hayley Frank knocked down seven 3-pointers Sunday, scoring a game-high 28 points to lead the Missouri Tigers to a 78-69 win against the Texas A&M Aggies in Southeastern Conference play at Mizzou Arena.

Missouri grabbed an early lead on a 3 by Lauren Hansen, followed by Franks’ first 3 of the game. The Tigers led until the 2:01 mark, when Destiny Pitts knocked down a 3 to give Texas A&M a 19-16 edge at the end of the first quarter.

The Aggies started the second quarter on an 8-0 run, taking their largest lead of the game at 27-16. The Tigers responded with a 13-1 run, but another Pitts 3 put Texas A&M back on top 31-29 going into halftime.

Missouri led 57-53 at the end of the third quarter. The Tigers fell behind momentarily in the fourth quarter after a layup by Sydnee Roby put Texas A&M in the lead at 60-59, but Frank answered on the other end with another 3, giving the Tigers the lead for good with about six minutes to play.

Frank’s 3 triggered a 9-0 Missouri run, adding 3s from Hansen and Haley Troup. The Tigers led by as many as 12 points in the closing minute after Mama Dembele made a pair of free throws.

Four Tigers scored in double figures, as Hansen had 14 points on four made 3s and Troup chipped in 11 points. Aijha Blackwell recorded her nation-leading 15th double-double of the season -- and ninth consecutive game -- with 10 points and 15 rebounds.

Kayla Wells led a balanced scoring attack for Texas A&M (11-8, 1-6 SEC) with 14 points. Pitts and Roby each added 13 points.

Missouri (15-5, 4-3 SEC) plays Thursday at Mississippi State (11-7, 2-4 SEC).
