Have a delicious recipe to share?

Whether you are a professional chef, excellent home cook or just learning your way around the kitchen, there is always a recipe you are proud of sharing with family and friends.

Perhaps it is a recipe passed down through generations, adapted from popular dish, or made through experimentation and from what was laying around in the cupboards or refrigerator.

The News Tribune would like to share these recipes with the community in a column called “Reader Recipes” in the Flavor section.

When submitting, please include your name, town of residence, the recipe with ingredients and preparation instructions, a little bit about the recipe (if it was passed to you, adapted or made up by you), and possibly a photo of the dish if you have one available. Please also include a phone number, which will not be printed, in case our staff needs to contact you with additional questions.

You can email a “Reader Recipe” to features editor Samantha Pogue at [email protected]. You can also put “ATTENTION: Samantha Pogue” and drop it by the News Tribune office at 210 Monroe St. or mail it to News Tribune, P.O. Box 420, Jefferson City, MO 65101. Recipes will be ran in order they are received.

For questions or more information, contact Pogue at 573-761-0250.
