Capital Arts Gallery has announced the winner of Best in Show from the Tell A Story exhibit.
The exhibit, which was on display at the gallery from Aug. 9-Sept. 17, consisted of a variety of artwork representing the past, present or future, a moment in time.
David Lipe was awarded Best in Show for his piece "El Goteo/The Dripping." Lipe, a native of St. Louis, said he credits the majority of his inspiration to his grandmother, Martha Marie Lipe, who was a teacher in Eugene for almost 20 years. She died Oct. 31, 2017.
The judge for this exhibition was Holly Stitt.
