Ralph Robinett received the 2016 Kevin Meinhardt Memorial Public Service Award at Tuesday night's meeting of the Jefferson City Council.
Robinett was the long time sergeant at arms of the Missouri House of Representatives.
The Kevin Meinhardt Award is bestowed annually on a resident who has given outstanding long-term service to a city board or commission.
Meinhardt, who died in 2012, served on the Historic Preservation Commission from 1990-98 and on the Board of Adjustment from 1997-2012.
