Jefferson City police are still working to develop information about a suspect who led officers on an early-morning chase that ended near Holts Summit with the suspect fleeing from officers.
Police officials said the chase began around 2:30 a.m. on Ellis Boulevard at U.S. 54 after the suspect committed numerous traffic violations.
Jefferson City officers chased the car on U.S. 54 until the car blew a tire on the highway, lost control and crashed into a ravine in Callaway County outside of Holts Summit.
The suspect ran and, as of Thursday afternoon, had not been seen since.
