Jefferson City man hurt in crash on Missouri River bridge

One person was hurt in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on the westbound Missouri River Bridge in Jefferson City.

The crash occurred just after 7:30 a.m., according to police reports.

Samuel Greenline, 27, of Jefferson City, crashed into the rear of a vehicle driven by Richard Aubuchon, 41, of Jefferson City. Greenline said he believed he fell asleep on his way home from work and did not stop before crashing into Aubuchon, who was stopped in traffic.

Greenline was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Aubuchon and his passenger, Connor Aubuchon, 3, of Jefferson City, had no reported injuries.

Traffic in the westbound lanes was down to one lane while emergency crews worked on the scene.
