Volunteer firefighter injured in crash

A volunteer firefighter was injured in a one-vehicle crash Sunday night in Miller County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred around 5:15 p.m. on westbound Missouri 42, just west of Rock Quarry Road.

Amber Kiser, 24, was in an emergency vehicle and responding to an emergency when she lost control and went off the right side of the road.

She was wearing a seat belt and was treated for minor injuries.
