Osage County deputies arrested a Belle man for an outstanding warrant.
According to sheriff's department reports, deputies received a tip Friday about a fugitive wanted out of Gasconade County for resisting arrest and possession of heroin. A deputy was joined by the Belle marshal's office and they took Shay Vinson, 22, of Belle, into custody in the 4oo block of County Road 738.
Vinson tried to run out the back door, but saw a deputy and went back into the residence with deputies chasing him. Vinson tried to hide in a bedroom closest, but was located and taken into custody without incident. During the investigation, deputies seized multiple narcotics.
Vinson was transported to the Osage County Jail and is facing additional charges of delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
