Expert on raising teenagers to speak at Helias

Parenting expert to speak at Helias

An internationally recognized expert on raising teenagers is to speak Monday at Helias Catholic High School, 1305 Swifts Highway in Jefferson City.

Roy Petitfils, author of “What teens want you to know (but won’t tell you)” and “God wears running shoes: Spiritual reflections for those ministering to young people,” uses humor, passion and clinical and life experience to help adults connect with teenagers.

He will speak with Helias staff and St. Joseph Cathedral School junior high school students during morning events.

A 7 p.m. Monday presentation for parents and students at the Helias fieldhouse is open to the public. It is free of charge.
