Youth program upcoming at state museum

The Missouri State Museum is offering interactive programs for all ages Tuesdays in July.

“Learning @ 11” is a series of interactive programs exploring various aspects of Missouri’s cultural and natural history, specifically focused on ages 4-7. Programs will from 11-11:45 a.m. each Tuesday during July. Dates and program themes are listed below:

• July 9: Rattler Fact Roundup!, Lohman Building, Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, 100 Jefferson St.

• July 16: Hats Speak!, Lohman Building.

• July 23: Murals, Murals, Everywhere!, Missouri State Museum, first floor, Missouri state Capitol.

• July 30: Make Your Own Rock Art, Lohman Building.

“Tuesdays @ 2” is a similar program focused on ages 8-12 using activity-based programming. The dates and program themes will be the same as the “Learning @ 11,” but the programs will be 2-2:45 p.m. each Tuesday.
