Jefferson City man arrested for DWI after wreck

A Jefferson City man was arrested after an accident early Saturday morning in Miller County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show Bradley King, 24, was arrested for DWI and careless and imprudent driving.

The crash occurred around 1:10 a.m. on Business 54 at Bagnell Dam.

King attempted to negotiate a curve at a high rate of speed and struck the bridge. He was wearing a seat belt and was treated for minor injuries.

Two people were hurt in a two vehicle crash Friday night in Moniteau County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred around 8:05 p.m. on U.S. 50 at Route H.

Taylor Peoples, 26, of Syracuse, was traveling behind John Forbis, 55, of Clarksburg, when Forbis slowed to make a left turn onto H and Peoples struck the rear of Forbis' vehicle.

Peoples had no reported injuries, but Forbis was treated for minor injuries while his passenger, Patricia Dunn, 54, of Clarksburg, was treated for serious injuries.
