Dear Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mayor Carrie Tergin for all she has done as the mayor of our city.
Yes, I ran against her as well as five other candidates, but she has showed the whole world what a city can accomplish with the right type of leadership.
I would like to thank her personally for allowing the Special Olympics spray. I was born a breech baby and could have very easily have been one of God's special people that this program benefits.
Once again, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to our mayor.
