Your Opinion: Abortion and individual personal control

Dear Editor:

Just suppose police find some very old badly decomposed human remains and the only hope to ID the remains consists of using DNA matching. Suspecting the ID of the remains police obtain DNA samples, say from hair found on the victim's decades old baby hair brush. After scientifically accurate DNA tests confirm a positive ID of the remains what is implied by a decades old DNA match?

The DNA of the old human remains is the same as the DNA of the infant human being. Rational thought then leads to the conclusion that the DNA of the infant human is the same DNA as the DNA of the human fetus. Likewise one has to conclude that the DNA of the fetal human has the same DNA as the human embryo. Finally, tracking the unchanging DNA back to the moment of conception; a human sperm combines with a human egg to produce a unique DNA pattern. That pattern is that of a new unique living human being.

The moment of conception is announced by zinc "fireworks" light when a human egg is activated by human sperm enzyme. The new unique DNA binary outcome, a male or female human is formed: there are no other choices than male and female because transgender or other delusional social constructs don't scientifically exist. Thus we now have a new member of the species Homo sapiens, a new human being. The new human being can eventually produce progeny that can also produce progeny, such a simple concept that eludes some humans but is inherently known by the birds and the bees.

Comes now the matter of who controls the conveyance and disposition of the new human being. Be it wanton lust, just plain ignorance, or no thought about consequences of copulation, the female and male had control of their bodies until they made a new human being. Males also lose some control of their bodies when financial confiscations are meted for support of the new human child.

As an example about control, a vehicle driver also loses some control of their body when operating a vehicle. The safety of pedestrians, passengers and other drivers are subject to external control by legal constraints on the free will of any driver to protect life and limb.

Is road kill of a human pedestrian any different than abortion of a human embryo? Personal freedoms have boundaries.
