Daniel Kottman's Feb. 7 LTE claimed that President Trump, Devin Nunes and the Republican Party are the swindlers selling the Emperor new clothes. I think it is the mainstream media who has been trying to convince us of Princess Hillary's wondrous gown.
Proclaiming that people who were tolerant and supporting of the LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ community could clearly see that the weavers and done a marvelous job using all the colors of the wind giving the fabric a mother of pearl sheen. Men who believe in women's equality and respect could clearly see how the cut of the gown defined her as a woman of feminine power yet did not make her a focus of sexual objectification. The light airiness of the fabric gave a clear indication, to those who are understanding, of how she had shed her past and was now free of the heavy burdens of her husband's transgressions. Those who are compassionate of the poor and downtrodden minorities could see that her hand crafted slippers woven from the same fabric as the gown allowed her to tip toe gently through the huddled masses, there was even an exquisite purse to carry her hot sauce in and finally the pice de résistance was the grand cloak, whom those that loved immigrants could see her spreading it wide in a welcoming gesture wrapping them in her warm embrace.
Yes, the mainstream media paraded her around the country and all was well till one little boy with reddish blonde hair, eating a McDonald's cheeseburger and drinking a Diet Coke, said "Hey she's naked!" Many in the crowd saw the truth, some laughed, some were shocked and others averted their eyes from the sight.
Unlike Mr. Anderson's story where all excepted the truth of the child, Hillary's supporters were outraged, screaming, throwing fits, saying "Look this is coming from misogynist, fat, unintelligent child? You can't believe him. Besides it was the Russians who made him say it." They still walk around as though they can see the gown that isn't there. What happened to the two swindling Taylors, well one took his uranium and returned to Russia and the other has been taking one vacation after another on the taxpayers' dime. Hopefully in the future they will be caught and end up doing some time.
