Volleyball: Haslag surpasses 400 kills at Bradley

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Bradley junior outside hitter Erica Haslag had a team-high 23 kills Saturday, leading the Braves to a 25-19, 19-25, 25-17, 22-25, 15-9 win against Southern Illinois.

Haslag (Helias High School) also led the Braves with four aces and finished with 14 digs to record her 14th double-double this season. She tops the team with 422 kills and also has 297 digs, third most on the Braves.

In Friday's 17-25, 25-20, 25-19, 14-25, 17-19 loss at Missouri State, Haslag set a new career-high with 30 kills, the most by any Brave since 2005. She added 17 digs in the loss.

Haslag surpassed 1,000 career kills with the Braves on Friday, becoming the 14th player in program history to reach that milestone. She currently has 1,047 career kills, which is ninth on Bradley's all-time list.

Bradley (9-16) hosts Drake on Friday.
