College Football: Barr paces Truman State

HOUGHTON, Mich. - Truman State redshirt-sophomore quarterback Jaden Barr totaled more than 200 yards of offense Thursday in the Bulldogs' 38-14 loss to Michigan Tech.

Barr (California High School) completed 12-of-17 passes for 79 yards, throwing a 3-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter to give Truman State a 7-0 lead.

He also finished with a team-high 116 yards rushing on 12 carries, scoring on a 75-yard run in the final minute of the opening quarter to tie the game at 14.

Truman State (0-1) plays Saturday at Morningside (Iowa).
