WARRENSBURG - The Lincoln Blue Tigers had a pair of top-40 finishers in the Central Missouri Invitational, leading to a 16th-place result.
Jordan Barnett shot a three-round total of 217 to finish tied for 30th in the event, which was held Monday and Tuesday at Mules National Golf Club.
Gabe Trowbridge finished tied for 39th with a 219 and Logan Taylor was tied for 84th by carding a 230. Brayden Watts and Cole Higgins shot a 233 and 241 to finish tied for 87th and 95th, respectively, to round out the team score of 899.
Washburn won the 18-team event with an 845. Central Missouri was a close second with an 846. The B team for UCM was third with an 852.
Lincoln will play Monday and Tuesday in the Northeastern State Classic.
