The Jefferson City Jays defeated the Blair Oaks Falcons 49-38 on Thursday in freshman basketball action.
Brenden Hoener scored a game-high 17 points for the Jays. Kaidyn Johnson scored 10 points.
Sam Luebbering led the Falcons with 10 points for Blair Oaks (4-6), which hosts Southern Boone on Tuesday prior to the JV and varsity contests.
Jefferson City (5-9) hosts Rolla on Tuesday prior to the JV and varsity contests.
