ASHLAND - The New Bloomfield boys and girls each finished in the top three Thursday at the Southern Boone Relays.
The girls posted 152 points, eight behind host Southern Boone. South Callaway was third with 119.
On the boys side, Southern Boone won the team title with 202.5 points, as Hallsville was second with 154.3. New Bloomfield took third with 141 and South Callaway finished fourth with 132.7.
The New Bloomfield girls won five events, picking up victories in the 4x200- and 4x800-meter relays. Kassi O'Dowd took first in the 800-meter run, Kyle Quinn won the 3,200-meter run and Samantha Haas placed first in the triple jump.
Adrian Mann was a double-winner to lead the South Callaway girls, winning the 100- and 300-meter hurdles. Elizabeth Luebbert also won the 1,600-meter run and Paige Clubb took first in the 200-meter dash.
The New Bloomfield boys won four events, starting the meet with a title in the 4x800. Caleb Distler was a double-winner for the Wildcats, taking the titles in the 800-meter run and the 3,200. Clayten Walker added a win in the 200.
Hunter Schroer led the South Callaway boys, picking up a pair of wins in the shot put and the discus. Wyatt Hager also finished first in the pole vault.
