Girls Basketball: Helias 63, Ozark 55

OZARK - The Helias Lady Crusaders remain unbeaten to start the season following Friday's 63-55 win against the Ozark Lady Tigers.

Ozark, ranked No. 4 in Class 5, led 15-11 after one quarter and 25-22 at halftime. Helias tied the score at 38 by the end of the third quarter and outscored the Lady Tigers 25-17 in the final eight minutes.

Ellie Rockers and Lindsey Byers each scored 19 points to lead the Lady Crusaders.

Helias (4-0) plays Cuba at 4 p.m. Monday in the Sullivan Holiday Classic. The Lady Crusaders are the No. 1 seed in the tournament.

In Friday's JV game, Helias lost 47-42 to Ozark to fall to 4-1. Emily Harrison led the Lady Crusaders with 11 points.
