Prep Baseball: Eugene 19, Crocker 0

EUGENE, Mo. - The Eugene Eagles scored 11 runs in the third inning to beat Crocker 19-0 on Tuesday.

Tre Kempker had a team-high four RBI on his two hits, while Billy Parr had a single, a triple and three RBI. Gavin Magers also drove in two runs.

Tyler Renn added two doubles and Ethan Adrian had a single and a double. Renn also scored four runs.

Parr struck out five batters in three innings to earn the win.

During the weekend, Eugene posted a 1-2 record in the AA Tournament Bash.

The Eagles opened with a 5-3 win Friday against New Bloomfield, but the dropped both games Saturday, falling 6-3 to Vienna and then falling 10-2 to Russellville in the third-place game.

Adrian was the winning pitcher against New Bloomfield. In six innings, he struck out 10 batters and yielded three walks. Parr led the hitting attack, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI.

Renn took the loss against Vienna, allowing six runs on eight hits with one walk and three strikeouts in five innings. Magers had two of Eugene's six hits, both singles.

In the loss to Russellville, Adrian had two doubles, while Kempker and David Hart each had one single and one double.

Eugene (4-3) plays Monday at Iberia.
