SEDALIA, Mo. - The Jefferson City Jays dropped a 2-0 decision Tuesday to the Sedalia Smith-Cotton Tigers.
Smith-Cotton led 1-0 at halftime.
Jefferson City (8-3-1) will play St. Viator of Arlington Heights, Ill., in the first round of the Go 4 The Gold Fall Classic at 5:45 p.m. Thursday in Burlington, Iowa. The Jays will also play Friday and Saturday in the Classic.
