CHAMOIS - The Chamois Lady Pirates led by eight points at halftime Thursday night and defeated the St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets 41-37 in Show-Me Conference action.
Chamois led 9-4 after one quarter and took a 20-12 advantage into halftime. The Lady Pirates led 29-25 after three quarters.
Makenna Wuelling finished with 21 points to pace the Lady Lions, while Katie Keilholz added 13.
Paige Struemph had a double-double for St. Elizabeth, totaling 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Chamois (7-6) will play Monday at Hermann. St. Elizabeth (4-9) will play School of the Osage next Tuesday in the opening round of the Osage Tournament.
