Jefferson City senior Micah Linthacum was announced Wednesday as a nominee for the 2019 McDonald's All-American Game.
Linthacum is one of 497 girls basketball players across the nation to be nominated as a McDonald's All-American. A total of 17 players were nominated from Missouri, including Hickman senior Emma Chapman.
Linthacum has helped the Lady Jays to a 15-0 start during the 2018-19 season. Jefferson City is currently ranked No. 1 in Class 5 by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association.
Earlier this season, Linthacum signed with the Missouri women's basketball team. She also has a future teammate as a fellow nominee.
