Helias girls soccer shuts out Hannibal

HANNIBAL, Mo. - The Helias Lady Crusaders snapped a five-game losing streak Tuesday night, scoring four second-half goals to beat the Hannibal Lady Pirates 6-0.

Reese Hamilton scored two goals in the second half for the Lady Crusaders, while Kayla Yanskey scored once in the first half and again after halftime. Maya Heckart scored in the first half and Sarah Pierle added a goal on a penalty kick late in the second half.

Helias (3-8) will host Sedalia Smith-Cotton next Wednesday.

The Lady Crusaders also won the JV contest 6-0.
