COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays couldn't overcome a two-goal deficit at halftime Tuesday, losing 2-1 to the Rock Bridge Bruins.
Kenzie Gourley scored the Lady Jays' only goal early in the second half, assisted by McKenzie Lochhead, cutting Rock Bridge's lead in half.
In the JV matchup, the Lady Jays and Rock Bridge played to a scoreless tie.
Jefferson City (3-3-2) will host Battle on Thursday.
