Missouri softball falls 3-2 at LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. - The Missouri softball team lost 3-2 to LSU on Friday.

Braxton Burnside and Kolby Romaine each drove in a run for Missouri.

LSU tied the game in the third on a two-run home run. An RBI single in the fourth gave LSU a 3-2 lead.

Cheyenne Baxter (14-7) took the loss in the circle, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks with a strikeout in six innings.

Missouri (27-22, 5-13 Southeastern Conference) will close out the three-game series with a doubleheader at 7 p.m. today.
