COLUMBIA, Mo. - Makenna Kliethermes pitched the Blair Oaks Lady Falcons to two wins Saturday in the Kewpie Classic.
Blair Oaks began the day with a 2-0 win against Troy before falling 15-0 in three innings to Lee's Summit West. Blair Oaks defeated Rock Bridge 5-3 in six innings in the third-place game.
Kliethermes tossed a two-hitter against Troy, striking out 10 and walking one.
Hannah Schroeder had an RBI triple, while Kayla Jones added a hit and an RBI.
In the win against Rock Bridge, Kliethermes struck out seven and walked two while allowing three hits in six innings. She also had two hits and two RBI.
Sydney Wilde contributed two hits and an RBI. Torie Thurston also tallied two hits.
Blair Oaks (21-4) hosts Hickman on Monday for Senior Night. The varsity game starts at 5 p.m., with the seniors being honored before the JV game.
